Total War: Warhammer II

Total War: Warhammer II is a game released on September 28, 2017, for Microsoft Windows. It is a real-time and turn-based strategy video game developed by Creative Assembly and launched by Sega. This is a part of the Total War game series that follows the 2016 release of the Total War: Warhammer.

About Total War: Warhammer II

The game, just like the first, is set in the fictional universe Warhammer Fantasy – a creation of Games Workshop. This world takes places across five different continents. These are the Naggaroth, Lustria, The Southlands, Nehekhara, and Ulthuan. The whole game centres around the Great Vortex that is in Ulthuan. Or at least, who will take full control of it.

The five races in the game try to cast rituals that will either give them control or stabilize the Great Vortex. Whoever wins will result in a different ending for the fictional universe.

In the Total War: Warhammer II, players will notice how the game will be more reliant on narrative compared to the previous version. The first game concentrated on either saving or destroying the Great Vortex. Your task will depend on the race you have chosen to play.

Another game mode that was added after the launch is The Laboratory that is actually an experimental battle mode. A multiplayer game mode is also available under the Free For All.

The Total War: Warhammer II also comes with new features like the Climate. It is a new climate system that races can use to conquer areas they want to. It will help them win bonuses or even penalties. There is also the Treasure hunts where the player can look for treasure amidst shipwrecks and ruins. This is like a “choose your own adventure” type of game. There is also a new feature wherein AI factions will roam the map – called the Rogue Armies.
